Terms of Service

Effective Date: ____________________

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Horizon Family Academy and Horizon Credit Services website, services, content, forms, downloads, communications, and related credit support offerings. By accessing the website, requesting information, submitting forms, enrolling in services, or using any service, the user agrees to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Company Information

This website and related services are operated under the Horizon Family Academy and Horizon Credit Services brand. References to "Company," "we," "our," or "us" in this document refer to Horizon Family Academy and/or Horizon Credit Services, as applicable.

Use of Website

Users may use the website only for lawful purposes. Users agree not to misuse the website, interfere with the website’s operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit false information, transmit harmful code, or use the website in a way that could damage the Company or other users.

Services

The Company provides educational, informational, and service-related content concerning credit building, credit support, credit education, and related service offerings. Information provided on the website is for general informational purposes and should not be interpreted as legal, tax, financial, or credit reporting agency advice.

Use of the website does not automatically create a client relationship. Any service relationship is subject to separate agreements, required disclosures, eligibility review, required documentation, and acceptance by the Company.

Service Agreement Summary

Clients who enroll in credit-related services may be provided with a separate Credit Repair Service Agreement, Authorization for Credit Repair Services, Consumer Credit File Rights disclosures, and Notice of Right to Cancel. Those documents will govern the specific client relationship together with these Terms of Service where applicable.

Under the service agreement, Horizon Credit Services may:

  • Review the client’s credit reports from relevant credit reporting agencies to determine inaccurate, erroneous, false, or obsolete information.

  • Inform the client of steps to be taken jointly with Horizon Credit Services to dispute such information.

  • Prepare essential correspondence intended to challenge inaccurate, erroneous, false, or obsolete information in the client’s credit reports.

  • Examine the credit profile status from Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion.

  • Provide consulting, coaching, and monitoring services through meetings, webinars, video conferencing, telephone, email, or similar forms of communication during regular business hours.

Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their state, to enter into service agreements through the website unless a parent, guardian, or authorized representative is acting on their behalf. By using the website or submitting a request for services, the user represents that they have the legal capacity to do so.

Client Responsibilities

Users and clients agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when completing forms or requesting services. Users are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information and for responding promptly to requests for documents, verification, or additional information needed for services.

The Company is not responsible for delays, inaccurate results, or interrupted services caused by incomplete information, failure to respond, failure to provide requested documentation, or false or misleading statements from the user.

Fees and Payments

Fees for services, document processing, consultations, or related offerings will be disclosed on the website, in service agreements, or in separate written communications.

Current pricing may include the following document processing fees unless changed by a later written agreement:

Individuals

  1. $97.00 once initial document processing has been completed.

  2. $97.00 monthly on the same date each month for document processing once completed.

Couples

  1. $150.00 once initial document processing has been completed.

  2. $150.00 monthly on the same date each month for document processing once completed.

By purchasing or enrolling in a paid service, the client agrees to pay all applicable charges as stated at the time of purchase or in the governing service agreement.

Authorization and Limited Agency

Where a client signs a separate authorization form, the client may authorize Horizon Credit Services to act on the client’s behalf in matters related to improving credit, including making, receiving, signing, endorsing, executing, acknowledging, delivering, and possessing applications, correspondence, contracts, or agreements required to improve credit.

Such authorization is limited to the three major credit reporting agencies, namely TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax, as well as any other reporting agencies or creditors listed as necessary or appropriate under the signed authorization.

Any authorization may be revoked by written notice unless otherwise stated in the signed client agreement. If not revoked earlier, any such authorization may automatically terminate according to the terms of the separate authorization document.

No Guarantee of Results

The Company does not guarantee any specific credit score increase, deletion outcome, approval decision, funding result, or other financial outcome. Results depend on many factors outside the Company’s control, including the accuracy of reported information, creditor responses, reporting agency actions, user conduct, and applicable law.

Past performance, testimonials, examples, or sample outcomes do not guarantee future results.

Consumer Credit Rights Notice

Users and clients retain the right to dispute inaccurate information in a credit report by contacting the credit bureau directly. Neither a customer nor a credit repair company has the right to have accurate, current, and verifiable information removed from a credit report. Accurate negative information may generally be removed only when it exceeds the reporting period allowed by law, and bankruptcy information may be reported for up to 10 years.

Users and clients may have the right to obtain a copy of their credit report from a credit bureau, and in some situations may be entitled to a free copy. They may also have the right to sue a credit repair organization that violates applicable law, including the Credit Repair Organizations Act, and may have the right to cancel a contract with a credit repair organization within 5 business days of signing it.

If a client disputes information in writing with a credit reporting agency, that agency may be required to reinvestigate and modify or remove inaccurate information without charging a fee. If a reinvestigation does not resolve the dispute, the client may have the right to submit a brief dispute statement for inclusion in later reports.

Cancellation Rights

A client may have the right to cancel a contract within 5 days of signing it, without penalty or obligation, if such right is provided by law or the governing service agreement. In the event of a valid cancellation, any payment made under the contract may be returned within the timeframe required by law or stated in the governing agreement.

A client seeking to cancel should deliver a signed and dated written notice stating the intent to cancel to Horizon Credit Services before the applicable cancellation deadline.

Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, branding, graphics, layout, downloads, logos, designs, educational materials, agreements, forms, and service descriptions, is owned by or licensed to the Company unless otherwise stated. No portion of the website may be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

The website may include links to third-party websites, forms, scheduling tools, payment platforms, social media platforms, or outside resources. The Company is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, availability, or accuracy of any third-party website or service.

Accessing third-party links is done at the user’s own risk.

By submitting a contact form, booking a consultation, downloading materials, or otherwise providing contact information, the user agrees that the Company may contact them by email, phone call, or text message regarding requested services, follow-up communication, scheduling, updates, or account-related matters, subject to applicable law.

Users may opt out of promotional communications where required by law, but transactional or service-related communications may still be sent as necessary.
